Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of XLR (the “Platform”). By using XLR you agree to these terms.

1) Marketplace role

XLR acts solely as a technology platform and does not provide the actual services. XLR helps users discover, communicate with, and book travel companions and assistants. Bookings are arranged between users, and users remain responsible for their own actions and decisions.

2) Accounts, eligibility, and accuracy

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
• You must comply with all applicable laws and airport/immigration requirements.

3) Bookings and user-to-user services

• Bookings are agreements between the booking user (“Traveler”) and the companion/assistant (“Companion”).
• Users must communicate clearly, show up on time, and behave respectfully.
• Any service expectations or limitations should be confirmed in-app prior to booking.

4) Payments and escrow

Payments are processed through a payment provider and may be held in escrow until service completion conditions are met, as defined by the Platform’s flows and policies.

5) Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on who cancels and when the cancellation occurs. For details, see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If a dispute is raised, XLR may request supporting evidence (for example: chat context, booking timeline, or relevant platform events) and may take actions consistent with the Platform’s safety and fairness goals.

6) Trust, safety, and prohibited conduct

• No harassment, discrimination, threats, fraud, or unsafe behavior.
• No attempting to move payments off-platform or bypass escrow.
• No misuse of identity/verification systems or misleading profile information.

7) Suspension and removal

XLR may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts (and related content) if we believe it is necessary for safety, policy compliance, risk management, or to protect the Platform and its users.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XLR is not liable for user-to-user conduct, missed flights, immigration issues, personal injury, loss, delays, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

9) Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of XLR after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
